Who can publish - on which topics - in which series?
INFER offers members and with exception also guest authors the possibility to publish on all economic issues. INFER currently offers three series:
INFER Working Papers. The working papers are electronic papers with a common format and are available from our webpage,
INFER Research Perspectives with LIT. In this series we publish monographs, e.g. PhDs and edited volumes and
INFER Advances in Economic Research with Edward Elgar. In this series we publish edited books which are the outcome from our workshops and annual conferences.
INFER Publications are available as hardcopy if they are published with LIT or Edward Elgar. There are no costs involved for the publication, but in case of monographs in particular, there is a reviewing process.
How does our reviewing process work?
The publications of INFER are subject to a multistage reviewing process to ensure the scientific quality of our publications. At least two independent experts review the submitted papers. The result of the reviewing process and potential needs for alterations will be communicated to the author. If the result of the reviewing process is positive, the author will receive the contract with the publishing house. INFER will send the paper with all the changes undertaken by the author and reviewed by the peers and all additional documents directly to the publishing house. Publications can be in English, French or German.
Which formal requirements have to be observed?
