INFER Annual Conference

As you may know, the next INFER Annual Conference is taking place from 7th to 9th of June, 2017 at the University of Bordeaux, France. You can find the Call for papers on the INFER website at: and on the conference website at:

Please note that the call for papers contains specific information concerning the "special sessions".

We invite you to organize a special session on the topic of your choice.

Special session proposals should be submitted as doc-files or pdf-files (preferably pdf), to the Annual Conference organizers by December 10, 2016 (extended deadline) at:

A standard special session proposal (see attachment) should include details on:
1.     Organizers (Name, Title, Affiliation, Email)
2.     Special session title
3.     Keywords and research fields (JEL Codes)
4.     Call for papers (i.e. a short description of the special session topic)

Please also note that :
-         a special session would normally consist of three papers that are related to each other (papers must be in English)
-         all special session topics are welcome
-         INFER only accepts full papers

The Annual Conference Scientific Committee will review all special sessions proposals. An answer will be given to special sessions organizers by December 15, 2016.

Furthermore, if the proposal is accepted, the papers for the special session will be refereed by the special session organizer using the INFER standards (i.e. INFER referee report form). Thus, we will leave it up to you, as session chair, to decide whether the submitted papers will be accepted for presentation during the annual conference.

By April 2, 2017 you should inform us whether the papers you received can be presented in a special session. In case you end up with an incomplete session, please inform us since we may be able to add a regularly submitted paper to your session.

These special sessions will then be included in the conference programme.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Kind regards,

Camelia Turcu

Chair of INFER
